About the role:

Smooth Commerce is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our team. As a Sr. QA Analyst at Smooth Commerce, you will be responsible for working alongside the project management, design, development and testing teams to perform end-to-end quality assurance testing on the company’s portfolio of product and service offerings. 

What will you be doing?

  • Working with the Quality Assurance lead to identify and define test objectives
  • Writing and updating test scripts and documentation
  • Performing functional, application and regression tests on mobile and web apps and features
  • Liaising with product developers and technical support specialists regarding product issues
  • Continuing testing post launch to further our goals of developing best in class products

 What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of iOS and Android mobile applications
  • Minimum 1 year quality assurance testing experience
  • Strong software quality advocate with the ability to negotiate with other team members
  • Familiar with software lifecycle and quality assurance concepts
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • The ability to learn new functionality on the fly
  • An understanding of priority levels based on customer impact
  • The ability to make decisions in a timely fashion
  • The ability to work on manual testing and reporting tasks
  • Bonus points for any product management or UX design experience
